How to apply for GMAT

There are a number of ways to take the GMAT and in some case you can do it without even having to leave the house. Take care when filling in the GMAT application form whichever way you are applying as mistakes could lead to you not being able to sit the exam on the day you were scheduled to.

Online

There are a certain number of acceptable items that can be used to prove who you are and they include a passport, drivers license – Government issued, ID card, also Government issued or a military ID card. Check the regulations of the country where you are sitting the exam as some insist on it being a passport. When applying online for the GMAT, the fee must be paid by credit card so if there is not one available you must try another way.

Fax

When applying to sit the GMAT this way the details must be sent a minimum of 7 days before the date that you want to sit the test. The form must be downloaded and filled in before it can be considered. Again the payment must be made by credit card. Depending on the area where you are based you must use separate contact details and make sure you are trying on a day when the office is open.

Phone

You will need to check the number in your own area. You will need to provide your name, date of birth, address and how you are going to pay. You will be told there and then when your GMAT test date will be.

In Person

It will always be possible to register for the GMAT exam in person, but for each country there will be a different place to go.
